With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Reynaldo José has emerged as a magnetic force in global fashion and culture. Hailing from Caguas, Puerto Rico, Reynaldo is not just a fashion designer — he is a storyteller, an illustrator with soul, a columnist with edge, and a professor whose influence extends far beyond the classroom.
Trained in Digital Fashion Design, Communications, Visual Arts, and Art History — with a Fashion Business Entrepreneurship Certification from the esteemed Istituto Marangoni Miami — Reynaldo's intellectual and creative rigor makes him a singular presence in the industry.
His runway résumé reads like a passport of prestige: from New York Fashion Week to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week El Salvador and Costa Rica Fashion Week, Reynaldo crafts silhouettes that speak both heritage and high-fashion fluency. At just 12, he was crowned "New Millennium Fashion Designer." Now, with accolades such as the 2023 New York Fashion Award for Best Ready to Wear International and the Premio Paoli 2025 International Designer of the Year, his trajectory remains nothing short of iconic.
But Reynaldo is more than couture — he is culture. A respected voice in media, he’s shaped narratives as Fashion Editor for Miradas PR/USA, penned style philosophy in the "Alter Ego" column for Ego Moda, and now lends his editorial brilliance to Lifestyle Plus Magazine New York.
A champion of education and community, Reynaldo has been honored by the Puerto Rico House of Representatives and Senate for his philanthropic impact and dedication to the arts. His work as an educator at the School of Plastic Arts and Design of Puerto Rico reflects a commitment to cultivating the next generation of creative visionaries.
Worn by icons like Manny Manuel, Sophy, Lourdes Robles, and Bryan Villarini, Reynaldo José designs not just for the stage — but for the soul.
